Karen has been described by one fellow band member as “very kind and generous, thinking of other’s need over her own.”  Furthermore, “she has been blessed with a great talent for music and uses her talent to glorify God to the fullest extent.”

Karen has been blessed by God with amazing talents in music.  Her talents include violin, viola, keys, mandolin, and awesome vocals.  Karen has also been blessed with the ability to create beautiful melodies and harmonies.  She has been developing these talents for most of her life and further developed her talent in college where she majored in music.

When Karen married Ben, she discovered contemporary Christian music. At that time they began writing together in a completely new style for her.  Now as the lead singer, keyboard, mandolin, and violin player she contributes to 5 Smooth Stones with her musical talents and creative song composing abilities.
